Global Digital Systems sponsored bike ride

We are delighted to be supporting our long-time customer Global Digital Systems on their 100 mile South Downs way bike ride from Winchester to Eastbourne in aid of Cancer Research UK over a 2 day period, starting on 27th June.

If you would like to sponsor them too, then GDS has set up a Just Giving page for the event and would greatly appreciate it if you would consider showing your support for this worthwhile charity, every little helps as they say.

Expanding our operations

With a strong order book through this year and into next year, we are expanding our skilled team so that we can deliver an increased number of successful customer projects with the same high levels of care and support that we always strive for.

We are delighted to announce that Caren Gray has taken on crucial linchpin role of Production Administrator, working with both our customers and our suppliers. Caren is involved in the sales process and sales handover to production, and then will be liaising with our suppliers, scheduling raw material deliveries and appropriate material treatments, to ensure that we deliver the project on-time and on-budget.

Investing in the future

Over the past couple of years we have been making investments in our people, machines, supporting technologies and processes to deliver an even better and broader service to our customers. We continue to have a core strength in our traditional aerospace market, manufacturing fine quality components for these demanding applications, and have been building on our surveillance expertise producing components and assembling electro-mechanical products that work consistently in challenging environments. Also, the knowledge and expertise we offer is increasingly being welcomed across more diverse markets, including automotive, motorsport, marine, geophysical survey and geotechnical analysis instrumentation.

Starting in earnest in the New Year, we will be taking bolder steps to expand the markets we operate in and bring the skills and precision we deliver to a broader audience.
